GOTADEMO STUDIO INSTRUCTIONS
  • Plug in any mic/headset device of your choice into your computer. Make sure the device you use has a separate mic and headset plug into your computer.
  • Select to load any track{file} from your computer, record an acapella voice track, load the contest track, or load a track from our server by double clicking on the track of your preference.
  • Please be sure to double-click or the desired track will not load. View the status icon near the timer for load progress. After your track loads, you may preview the track by clicking play on the Record Voice menu.
  • Modify your volume track controls with the slider bar control icons to adjust track volume. When ready, click the red record button to record your voice. If desired, you may add a chorus vocal input or adlib voice input over your recorded voice by clicking {Add Chorus/Adlib} button.
  • Once {Add chorus Adlib} button is selected, your track will load and be available to record over. Click the red record button to record your 2nd vocal input. You may play the finished result by clicking the play button within the Add Chorus/Adlib play menu.
  • Adjust the equalizer controls in {Mastering} to touch-up your recording. Click {Complete Session} when you are finished to finalize your recording. You will then be ready to save your demo.
  • To save your demo, click {Finalize/Save} which will direct you to a secure payment gateway to charge you a fee for the Gotademo Online Studio and allow you to save your file to your computer and upload it to gotademo.com
  • Please be mindful of your session time limits. You only have 30 minutes to complete your recording. For additional time, you must begin a new session.
