GOTADEMO STUDIO INSTRUCTIONS
- To practice an instrument, go to the top of the screen and click on the Instrument Category drop down box.
- Choose an instrument category.
- Next, go to Keyboard Player, the option below Instrument Category, and select an instrument.
- For enabling a timing sequence, Enable the Metronome button, directly below the Keyboard Player. If enabled, a clicking sound will be heard while recording. The metronome click can assist in timing the recording but will not be recorded while an instrument is played.
- Next, select Enable keyboard to play the selected instrument from a computer.
- To play a selected instrument, press a computer keyboard second row letter keys: A S D F G H J K L and :
- When finished, select Disable Keyboard to stop playing/recording.
- When recording, there are 8 tracks to utilize. To begin, start with track 1.
- Press the Piano 1 button to select an instrument of your choice.
- To record, press the record button within track 1, followed by pressing the Enable Keyboard button. If properly enabled, you will see both the Record button in gray and the recording timer activate.
- Once the timer begins, the recording sequence has begun. To stop recording, press the Disable Keyboard button.
- To play a selected instrument, press a computer keyboard second row letter keys: A S D F G H J K L and :
- You may listen to a track by pressing the Playback button. To continue recording additional tracks, go to the next track number and repeat the above instructions. After recording tracks, play all tracks recorded together by pressing Play All, and save the recording by pressing Save. To reset the process, select the Reset button.
- After recording a music track, proceed onto recording a voice by selecting the Record Vocals over Track button. You will need to connect a headset with an attached microphone into the headset jack of a computer to begin the next studio session.
